How Good Day Candles Came to Be March 29 2014

To me, a candle is so much more than wax, or soy wax in my case, It represents light and hope and peace. All things we wish for in the world and in each other but sometimes we get the exact opposite. My story begins with an absolutely horrid, balls to the wall, palm smack to the forehead, wtf just happened kind of day. It was one of those days that started off so sunny but quickly spiraled into something out of the movie Falling Down with Michael Douglas. No I didn't go on a rampage but a table was almost flipped over, at least in my mind. I'll spare you and the parties involved any further details. In a nutshell, it was not a good day at all...

So as I brushed my teeth and got ready for bed, my mind still reeling from confusion and hurt, I got to thinking about all of the people out there who were going through the same thing as me or worse. What if I could send a little light their way in my darkest hour? What if the single act of lighting a candle could represent a new beginning? What if even just for a second someone's thoughts were soothed by a sweet, calming fragrance? And so my mission begins because everyone deserves a good day.
